What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember preferences, keep basic functions working, and — if you allow — understand how pages are used.

How we use cookies

Smartwebapps uses essential cookies required for core operation (including remembering your cookie consent choice) and optional analytics cookies that help us see which lesson and journal pages are useful. Analytics cookies run only if you accept them in the consent banner. Rejecting non-essential cookies does not block browsing, forms, or lesson information.

Managing and disabling cookies

You can accept or reject non-essential cookies through the banner on your first visit. Clear site data in your browser to reset that choice and see the banner again. You may also block cookies entirely in browser settings; essential features such as reading lesson pages will still work, though preference storage may reset.

Third-party cookies

Our pages may load fonts from Google Fonts. That request can expose your IP address to Google. We do not embed third-party advertising cookies. If we add a third-party media host in future, this table will be updated.

Impact of disabling

Disabling optional analytics cookies simply means we collect fewer aggregate usage statistics. Disabling all cookies may clear your stored consent preference so the banner appears again.
